Ä¢¹½´«Ã½’s Human Resource Management program is certified by the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), distinguishing it as a top choice for students who are looking for a competitive edge in the job market after graduation. 

You’ll develop skills and knowledge like how to:

Gain world-renowned knowledge through core academic alignments.

As of February 2020, Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ aligned its Human Resource Management degree with the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) HR Curriculum Guidebook and Templates. Throughout the world, over 700 programs in approximately 539 educational institutions have been acknowledged by SHRM as being in alignment with its suggested guides and templates. The HR Curriculum Guidebook and Templates were developed by SHRM to define the minimum HR content areas that should be studied by HR students at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The guidelines—created in 2006 and revalidated in 2010, 2013, 2017, and 2022—are part of SHRM’s Academic Initiative to define HR education standards taught in university business schools and help universities develop degree programs that follow these standards.

Where can it take me?

Find your path to success in the human resource management field.

Businesses of all sizes have human resource needs that you'll be able to fill as a Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ graduate. The leadership and communication skills you'll gain through the program will lead you to success in any industry for both local and global companies.

The human resource management program also offers a minor, which is a great companion to other business majors. For some students, continuing on for a Master of Business Administration (MBA) or Master of Strategic Leadership (MSL) at Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ is their next step—both have many areas of emphasis, including human resources.

What are the next steps?

Transfer up to 75 credits from an Iowa community college or up to 93 credits from a regionally accredited 4-year university.

Veterans may also earn credit for military training via the Defense Activity for Non-Traditional Education Support (DANTES).

Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ offers competitive tuition and generous scholarships.
